Dining

Three delicious meals are served daily in our newly remodeled dining room, located on the first floor of our facility. At Twinbrook Assisted Living, we value mealtime as an opportunity for our residents to socialize as all meals are served at the table. Alternatives to the main entrée are always available, and dietary requirements such as food allergies are taken into consideration. Our daily menus are made available to our residents on the dining tables at each meal. Beauty Shop

Twinbrook’s recently remodeled beauty shop is conveniently located within our facility. Our beauticians are personable and accustomed to cutting, coloring and styling hair for our seniors. Twinbrook’s friendly staff can help residents who need assistance getting to and from the beauty shop.

Transportation

Twinbrook Assisted Living has a private bus that transports residents to shopping centers, doctors’ offices and special events. Our bus is equipped with a lift making it wheelchair- and walker-accessible.

Healthcare

Assisted living facilities in Kentucky are permitted to provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as pill reminders, basic first aid, bathing assistance, transportation to medical appointments and other nonmedical assistance, but they are not licensed to provide healthcare. Twinbrook Assisted Living, however, does have working relationships with area healthcare providers who can meet the needs of our residents when necessary.

Home-health agencies, pharmacies, physicians, nurse practitioners and therapists routinely provide services to our residents. Twinbrook residents are able to maintain better health and reduce visits to doctors’ offices and hospitals as a result of these services being performed in our residents’ apartments by outside providers.

Baptist Health Louisville – formerly known as Baptist Hospital East – and Norton Women and Children’s Hospital – formerly known as Norton Suburban Hospital – are just down the street from Twinbrook Assisted Living, and the downtown hospitals are easily accessible in less than 10 minutes via Interstate 64.
